DVD containing HSL-commissioned short films, “This Was Heaven, Really...” and “Unlocking the Wilderness.” Produced by James Bleecker in 1988 and 1989. TWHR tells the story of life in Saranac Lake for those seeking treatment for tuberculosis. UTW details the early settlement of what we now know as the Adirondacks. Both films have been newly digitized from the original materials.
