This fall we hosted our annual history walks with 5th graders. At the end, I asked the kids to name something they learned that they would teach to their families.” All hands went in the air. They called out, “Charlie Green!” “Pine Ridge Cemetery!” “Cure Cottages!” “the first library!” One little girl excitedly shouted, “The whole town!”
GIVE TO THE 2018 ANNUAL FUND!
Do you believe that one of the things that makes Saranac Lake special is our unique history? We do too!
Here at Historic Saranac Lake we work hard to preserve the stories and places that make our community special. Through school outreach, tours, special presentations, and by opening our museum door every day, we build an appreciation for our local history. Your membership dues and other donations are so important for helping us to become a leading museum and community center. Thank you!
Please help us make a strong start in the coming year with a gift to our Annual Fund for 2018. At the end of each year, we appeal to our members and friends for this special contribution.
Your gift to the Annual Fund is so important! You are helping us serve thousands of museum visitors and build our amazing online archive of local history. Your support allows us to continue to expand our oral history project, build the Cure Porch on Wheels, and serve hundreds of school children each year.
Thank you for your generous assistance in this past year. Please join us in building a stronger community in 2018 by giving to our annual fund.
